Uganda Airlines is the flag carrier of Uganda. The company is a revival of the older Uganda Airlines which operated from 1977 until 2001. It began flying in August 2019.
 
Job Summary  The Load Control Supervisor will implement and supervise all load controllers and the activities to ensure competence is maintained among the practicing staff.
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities 
Coordinate ground handling activities to ensure delivery of safe effective and punctual aircraft services with adherence to the flight requests order.
Maintain effective coordination of the suppliers and contractors engaged in the functions involved with the handling of flights.
Act as the key liaison with all operational agencies including crew on issues arising, when supervising the aircraft turnaround activities.
Ensuring that the flight activities are in conformance with local regulations and standards operating procedures of handling aircraft.
Coordinate and direct any other operational activities requested for by the customer airline.
Ensure that processes are delivered within SKA standards of performance and compliance limits.
Ensure activity sequence matches stated turnaround plan with all activities delivered within the agreed times.
Liaise with and between teams departments and suppliers to inhibit discrepancies in task sequence or performance.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The ideal applicant for the Uganda Airlines Load Control Supervisor job placement must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Credit in Mathematics at O’ Level.
At least five years’ work experience in the service industry.
Technical Qualifications in Weight and Balance Training, SMS, Turnaround Coordinator training, Aircraft Loading and handling Conversant with MS Office packages Word, Excel and E-mail.
Analytical skills, Numerical skills, Planning and Organization skills, Communication skills, Interpersonal skills.
In addition, the position requires composure, ability to cope with pressure, flexibility, pro-activeness, and Assertiveness
