Today Finance Trust Bank is a fully-fledged Commercial Bank serving a clientele of over 400,000 depositors and over 23,000 borrowers, through a network of 35 branches country wide. The Bank offers a variety of Products and services including; Savings, Current accounts, Loans, Money transfer services and Bills payments to its target market which comprises of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs, salary earners and youth.
 
Job Summary  The Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting will ensure proper financial reporting to external stakeholders in line with the accounting policy and regulatory requirements.
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities 
Preparation & submission of regulatory and statutory reports
General ledger reconciliation
Grant Management.
Fixed Assets Management
Management of IFRS 16 model
Data Collection & Validation for the IFRS9 model
Monthly Corporation Tax Assessment
Revenue Assurance for other incomes and Arrangement fees of Loans and Advances
Supervision of Accountants
Providing financial information to all stakeholders
Any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The applicant for the Finance Trust Bank Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting job placement must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
At least Level 3 CPA, ACCA.
Three 3 years’ experience in a similar position in a busy profit oriented Organisation
Knowledge of accounting principles
Knowledge of prevailing International Financial Reporting Standards.
Knowledge of Banking Systems.
Excellent report writing skills.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent computer & Excel skills
Good communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Attentiveness to detail.
Demonstrated high integrity, independence, objectivity, confidentiality and professionalism.
Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
High level of Organization.
Good report writing and presentation skills.
Good personal presentation.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
