About US
Suubi Lyaffe a Community Based Organisation initiated by mothers of disabled
children is looking for an intern to support in the implementation of its
activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities ⇒
⇗ Establishing a monthly report assessment of children’s development; Social,
Physically, Spiritually, Intellectual
⇗ Involving children in regular group activities at the centre so as to boost
their brain
⇗ Visiting their homes to discuss about their living standards, welfare and
environment
⇗ Supervising the children’s hygiene changes on a weekly basis
⇗ Studying and creating analysis of children’s family and background
⇗ Discussing about the children’s welfare in health and diet
⇗ Devising means on how to find solutions to the problems facing parents and
children
⇗ Keeping a record of the children by taking photos of children every after
six months to analyse developmental changes

Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
⇗ The applicant must hold a diploma in Social work and social administration/
Early childhood learning/ social psychology
⇗ Experience working with children with special needs and disabilities.
⇗ Excellent communication skills
⇗ Excellent interpersonal skills
⇗ Computer literate in basic packages.
