solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of
Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client in the Agriculture sector, we are looking for a
competent Payroll Administrator to work in Kampala.
Job Summary ⇒ The Technical Manager is responsible for the overall function
of the farm.

Key Duties and Responsibilities ⇒
⇗ Provide efficient, timely and effective technical support to service or
maintenance, repair and management of all electrical systems, civil work,
mechanical, steaming and all other equipment/ work.
⇗ Planning and supervision of preventive and corrective maintenance of all
electrical plant equipment and carrying out electrical installations.
⇗ Responsible for static and mobile plants, designs, operation and
maintenance of plant installation
⇗ Responsible for training and motivating the technical staff that they
become better performers and achieve set objectives and targets.
⇗ Identification and advising management on procurement of appropriate and
genuine spare parts and new plants
⇗ Keep stock or inventory on company plant and machinery properties,
repairs, and maintenance for all machinery
o Generators
o Cultivators, tractors, etc.
o Green houses, irrigation, lighting installations
o Cold store
⇗ Oversee and supervise all construction, repairs and maintenance works of
Green Houses and other civil and steel works that they conform to
architectural / engineering standards
⇗ Oversee and supervise the steam section when requested to with respect to
the production schedule.
⇗ Plan and put in place measures to control and ensure the efficient and
effective use of company resources.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
⇗ The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil
Engineering.
⇗ A minimum of four 4 years hands-on experience preferably in a flower
farm/ industrial setting –required
⇗ Excellent computer skills.
⇗ Effective Communication
⇗ High integrity and ethical standards
⇗ Good planning and organizational skills like ability to make priorities
⇗ Accuracy and attention to detail
⇗ Problem-solving and analytical ability
⇗ Ability to follow written instructions and documented procedures
Work Environment/Condition
⇗ The position is Office based with frequent movements to the field,
⇗ Flexibility working hours & days to meet all deadlines.
⇗ Ability to work on simultaneous projects.
