Job Summary The Trader, Corporate & Institutional Sales will manage and execute all aspects of the Sales Trading process related to the sale, receipt and transmission of orders for diverse types of Equities and Fixed Income products to a local & global institutional, corporate and Financial institution client base, to meet equities sales targets while ensure alignment with the requirements and standards of Stanbic Uganda Holdings Uganda and SBG Securities Uganda Limited. To ensure growth in company revenue by providing responsive, pro-active, proficient and efficient services to existing and potential clients in order to grow market share and retain existing business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
To manage and execute all aspects of the Sales Trading process related to the sale, receipt and transmission of orders for diverse types of Equities and Fixed Income products to a local & global institutional, corporate and Financial institution client base, to meet equities sales targets while ensure alignment with the requirements and standards of Stanbic Uganda Holdings Uganda and SBG Securities Uganda Limited.
To ensure growth in company revenue by providing responsive, pro-active, proficient and efficient services to existing and potential clients in order to grow market share and retain existing business.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The applicant for the Stanbic Bank Trader, Corporate & Institutional Sales job must have 5-7 years Foreign Exchange experience
Knowledge in Equities and Fixed Income
Knowledge of Global Economics including political events for countries relevant to client base
In-depth knowledge of Dealing systems FX Vanilla, FX options, FX e-pletforms, Bloomberg and MM and their functionality
Asset Management knowledge
Up to date knowledge of Capital Markets products
Knowledge of market behaviour and ethics
Knowledge of the Capital Markets Authority and workings of the Uganda stock exchange & Nairobi Securities Exchange.
Ability to analyze and utilize various research reports as well as financial information.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Presentation skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Professional work ethic and positive attitude.
Be pleasant, outgoing and a persuasive person.
Target driven.
Customer service skills.
Ability to listen and probe effectively to determine customers real needs.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
