Newrest Uganda Inflight Services is an industrial catering company
specializing in the aviation sector restaurants serving the airline and VIP
flights and ground with signs Caffé Lindo, E-Café Sky Café, and in the rail,
marine, communities embassies, schools, private companies, hospitals, also
associated services including aerial specialist managed services “in flight”
Inflight, the sales on board Buy-on-board, the Off- taxes duty free and
remote support remote sites.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
⇗ He is responsible to roll out, organize and structure the different
business branches of the company, with a special focus on efciency, customer
satisfaction, human development, business development and financial
protability.
⇗ To execute the strategy within the budget targets approved by the Group and
the Board of Directors, to develop the business.
⇗ To Implement, review and develop Inflight operational procedures in order
to be in line with the KPI of the activity
⇗ Assure the full implementation of Newrest Group procedures in terms of
Inight and B&l.
⇗ Ensure constant review of all Infight operations with a dedicated
management team and drive forward resolutions for any issues raised.
⇗ Provide an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the Inflight business
including all of the key factors that impact the aviation industry and
operations, now and in the future, and be able to suggest and drive ideas to
improve performance.
⇗ Assist with Inight Unit business forecasting. Implement and Issue
reporting and tracking systems on Inight KPI
⇗ Identify and exploit other business opportunities with in the country.
⇗ Contribute to business retention and business growth.
⇗ Promote and develop the different business activities of the Group.
⇗ Monitor the Inflight Operations efficiency, Quality, Customer Satisfaction
and Profitability.
⇗ Review and Develop the Inight SOPs and programs
⇗ Bring the Inflight training support to develop the skills and know-how.
⇗ Analyze the Inflight market, changes, evolutions, threats and
opportunities.
⇗ Review the KPl's and issue relevant action plans in case of deviations.
⇗ Guarantee high level food safety services to the client in line with
international standards certification.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
⇗ The applicant must hold a master’s degree in business management.
⇗ At least 5-10 years’ experience in In-ight Catering Managerial position
