growth capital to micro enterprises.
Job Summary ⇒ The Credit Officer will support the team and grow with us as
we embark on our mission.
Key Duties and Responsibilities ⇒
⇗ Review loan requests
⇗ Assess clients’ financial status
⇗ Evaluate creditworthiness and risks
⇗ Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation
⇗ Analyze risks and approve or reject loan requests
⇗ Calculate financial ratios e.g. credit scores and interest rates
⇗ Set up payment plans
⇗ Maintain updated records of loan applications
⇗ Follow up with clients about loan renewals
⇗ Monitor progress of existing loans Requirements
⇗ Support in the development of innovative credit financing instruments.
⇗ Any other related responsibilities as may be required/assigned from time to
time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
⇗ A minimum of two years’ experience as a credit officer in a microfinance or
large SACCO environment.
⇗ Proficiency in Excel.
⇗ Self-starter who can think and work independently, as well as a team
player.
⇗ Excellent report writing skills.
⇗ Prior business Management skills are a plus.
