We are a not for profit community hospital under the auspices of the Church of Uganda in the Diocese of Kinkiizi. We offer preventative and curative services to 120,000 people but our specialized services are of nationwide benefit.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Compilation of HMIS reports Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annually from different sections of the hospital and generation of other requested reports from the Hospital electronic databases and HMIS Registers.
Maintenance and administration of Computer servers Virtual Machines, Desktops, Laptops, SMART Boards for Smart learning, Printers/scanners, Projectors, iPads, Kindles, PBX, smart phones, software deployment, security updates and patches as well as a vast array of additional technologies inclusive of both hardware and software.
Install, configure, monitor and maintain secure computer systems and computer networks both cabled and wireless.
Management and troubleshooting of network attached security cameras including footage backup.
Equipping Nursing school students with functional knowledge and basic computer skills.
Offering of 24/7 End-User technical support.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
CCNA certificate or Training certificate for completion of CCNA study requirement.
Knowledge in VMware Infrastructure i.e., VMware ESXi Hypervisor and vCenter Server.
Knowledge in Ubuntu Linux and Windows operating systems.
Must possess Client-Server architecture extensive knowledge.
Basic knowledge in website design, hosting and updating.
Knowledge in computer repairs.
Must be able to consciously uphold hospital core values.
Must be able to work effectively with diverse team members and stakeholder.
