Key Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with colleagues to coach and support Private Sector Partners Grantees in financial reporting, paying close attention to gaps already identified from past reviews. This will involve field visits.
Coach Private Sector Partners Grantees on the use of MIS system for Financial Reporting and support with the upload of past reports such that records are up to date.
Support the review process of Financial Reports submitted by the Grantees
Analyse budget performance per Private Sector Partner and provide timely feedback regularly so as to allow early remedial actions
Support with timely Project invoice posting in SAP
Take stock of activities implemented each month and ensure all related invoices have been received and posted in SAP on a timely basis.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in appropriate field.
Intermediate /advanced knowledge of MS Office Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel.
Ability to act and communicate with a high level of sensitivity as well as analytical skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and outstanding attention to detail.
Previous experience in a related field will be an added advantage
NB The internship is originally planned for a period of 6 months from August 2021 to January 31, 2022. Extension is possible for individual cases depending on performance and project need.
