Norvik Group Hospital and Enterprise owns Norvik Enterprises Ltd, one of the
leading Importers and distributors of pharmaceutical & medical products in
Uganda and Norvik Hospital.
Job Summary ⇒ Norvik Group is looking for a Medical Representative who will
be responsible for creating awareness and marketing pharmaceutical products to
hospitals, pharmacies and medical centres within Kampala and its surrounding
regions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities ⇒
⇗ To plan and execute product marketing strategies; make field visits and
follow up of prospects and sales, assist in debt portfolio management
⇗ Conduct doctor, pharmacist and other healthcare provider visits as per the
daily plan and monthly marketing to communicate product benefits and get their
commitment for use, buying and recommending the company’s brand.
⇗ To take the lead in marketing plan implementation for all the products
⇗ To conduct field product presentations and demonstrations, CMEs, product
launches, round table meetings, opinion leader meetings, exhibition,
e-marketing to ensure constant product awareness, customer relationship
management and satisfaction.
⇗ Undertake market and marketing research to attain expertise with respect to
the competition, market trends, market size, market share, pricing and current
value management techniques.
⇗ Manage the product advertising and promotion activities and budget and
develop sales and product promotion plans to ensure achievement of the monthly
revenue objectives.
⇗ To be able to understand the dynamics, evaluate and advise on the
effectiveness of the product distribution channels and suggest management
intervention for efficiencies and success.
⇗ Provide input in forecasting of demand based on market, product and
competitive understandings; monitor and report sales performance per market
segment as per forecast.
⇗ Regular survey for company’s products, collecting information about
competitor activities, Personal order booking, collection of due payments from
customers.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
⇗ The applicant must hold a Diploma in Orthopedic studies, Pharmacy or any
relevant field.
⇗ At least two years of working experience in the same or similar field.
⇗ Excellent communication, sales and marketing skills.
⇗ Team player & team working skills.
⇗ Report writing skills.
