d Print an Extract of PS Form 3 2008 and obtain recommendation from the
Responsible Officer. Scan the recommendation together with the rest of the
documents and submit online.

Minimum Qualification

Applicants should be Ugandans in possession of an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture plus a minimum of a Post Graduate Diploma in the above field from a recognized University/ Institution.
Working Experience

Applicants should have a minimum of three 3 years relevant working experience in the field of Agriculture or Crop Science at Agricultural Inspector level in Government or from a reputable organization.
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Principal Agricultural Inspector,
Seed Inspection and Certification for performing the following duties-



‣ Inspecting seed fields during crop growth to ensure the standards for
isolation, rouging and maintaining other factors according to prescribed
standards;

‣ Coordinating seed certification activities and inspection of agro-inputs
in liaison with Local Governments and extension staff;

‣ Compiling quarterly and annual reports on seed certification activities;

‣ Assessing training needs, training and building capacity of seed personnel
and other stakeholders so as to carry out the functions of division
effectively and efficiently;

‣ Supervising programmes for seed inspection in establishments where seed is
sold, stored or transplanted;

‣ Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
