About US ⇒
The Uganda Development Corporation UDC was set up by the Uganda Development
Corporation Act 2016 as the investment arm of Government with the primary
objective of facilitating industrial and economic development of the country.
This objective is met through; establishment of subsidiary and associated
companies, entering into public private partnerships with any commercial,
industrial or agricultural undertaking or enterprises, assisting in financing
and management of undertakings promoting industrial or economic development;
and promoting and facilitating research into industrial development.
Job Summary ⇒ The Manager Investments Agro Industry will provide overall
technical guidance and input on all matters pertaining to agro-industry value
addition technologies of investments/ projects that the corporation may be
involved in or interested in pursuing

Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
⇗ The applicant must hold a Master’s degree qualification in the fields of
agroindustry/value addition technologies or their equivalents from reputable
academic institutions.
⇗ Post graduate qualifications in the fields of business management, economic
planning, project planning or their equivalents from reputable academic
institutions is an added advantage
⇗ Bachelors’ Degree in any relevant related field of agriculture
⇗ Should have over 10 years’ experience in fields associated with the
promotion of value addition along the numerous agro-industry value chains in
Uganda of which 5 years should have been at Senior Management level.
⇗ Age Below 54 years
