Ministries/Departments/Agencies and Local Governments to fill Vacant Posts.

d Print an Extract of PS Form 3 2008 and obtain recommendation from the
Responsible Officer. Scan the recommendation together with the rest of the
documents and submit online.

Minimum Qualification

Applicants should be Ugandans in possession of an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture; Crop Science plus a minimum of a Post Graduate Diploma in any of the above fields from a recognized University/ Institution.
Working Experience

Applicants should have a minimum of three 3 years relevant working experience in the field of Agriculture or Crop Science at Agricultural Inspector level in Government or from a reputable organization.
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Principal Agricultural Inspector,
Diagnostics for performing the following duties-



--> Identifying diseases and pests brought to plant clinics and looking for
the remedy;

--> Supervising work in plant clinics and in laboratory;

--> Conducting field trials on IPM;

--> Collecting data for compendia on pests of crop;

--> Preparing bulletins and posters on disease;

--> Surveying disease outbreaks and collecting samples for research and study;

--> Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
