About US ⇒
Children's Rights and Violence Prevention CRFPF is a regional child rights
and social justice intermediary organization that provides grants and capacity
development support to Community Organizations and local NGO's working with
children, youth, families, communities and schools. CRVPF mission is to
prevent violence, sexual abuse and exploitation of children and adolescent
where they live, learn, plan and work. CRVPF provides grants to community
organizations operating in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania and Ethiopia.
Types of Project
CRVPF with funding from Mastercard Foundation under the COVID-19 Recovery and
Resilience Program will be implementing a project to support up to 80
Community Based Organizations and local NGOs to Respond to COVID-19 Challenges
in Refugee Settlements, Host, and Slum Communities. The key objectives of the
project include;
⇗ To build the institutional capacity of Youth and Women-led Community Based
Organizations and local NGOs operating in refugee settlements, host
communities and, in slum areas to respond to the effects of COVID-19 on their
organizations and beneficiaries.
⇗ To support economic recovery of Refugee Youth, and Young Women and Men in
refugee -host communities, and slum areas.
Location ⇒ Refugee settlements, Host communities across Uganda.
Eligibility
⇗ Any CBOs, Local NGOs, preferably youth-led, women- led, refugee-led
organizations working in a refugee settlement, host communities, and slum
areas spread across the country.
⇗ Any community organizations that would like to work in cluster partnerships
are also encouraged to apply
