wholeness in a hurting world". MTI-UG has established activities in West Nile,
Mid and South Western Uganda. We provide Comprehensive Primary Health Care,
Reproductive Health, HIV/AIDS and Nutrition.
Job Summary ⇒ The Health Assistant will be responsible to prepare and
present health education sessions to the population as well as mobilization
activities related to public health.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
⇗ Two years of experience implementing public and environmental health drives
⇗ Experience working with INGOs is an added advantage
⇗ Knowledge of public health interventions including EPI, HIV/AIDS, WASH,
nutrition, family planning and outbreak prevention and response
⇗ Knowledge of behaviour change methods
⇗ Skilled in developing relationships to strengthen social support networks
and using behaviour change strategies to mobilize community members to take
ownership of healthcare needs
⇗ Skilled in data analysis and writing reports
