Mid and South Western Uganda. We provide Comprehensive Primary Health Care,
Reproductive Health, HIV/AIDS and Nutrition.
Job Summary ⇒ The Registered Midwife will be responsible for providing
midwifery services during pregnancy, labour and postpartum periods in line
with health protocols, universal hygienic and new-born caring standards.
Engages in activities that promote MCH, family planning and proper nutrition.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
⇗ The applicant must hold a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Midwifery from an
accredited School of Nursing and Midwifery is required
⇗ Registration with Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council is required
⇗ Valid practicing license is required
⇗ Two years of midwifery experience is required
⇗ Experience working with international NGOs is an added advantage
⇗ Knowledge of professional midwifery principles, procedures and techniques
⇗ Knowledge of medical and non-medical waste disposal procedures
⇗ Knowledge of hygiene management and IPC protocol
⇗ Skilled in applying professional midwifery care principles and procedures
in the evaluation and treatment of patients
