Kakira Sugar Works Limited, often referred to as Kakira Sugar Works, is a
leading sugar manufacturer in Uganda, the third-largest economy in the East
African Community.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
⇗ In charge of identifying risks and exposures for potential insurance cover.

⇗ Coordinating and follow up with various departments to ensure that
insurance requirements are taken care of.
⇗ Coordinating with the Insurance Manager and Director on insurance matters.
⇗ Ensuring that insurance documentation like proposal forms and claim forms
are completed and submitted on time.
⇗ Reviewing insurance documents to ensure they are in line with what is
required by the Company.
⇗ Liaising with insurance providers and intermediaries to ensure that the
organization's interests are taken care of.
⇗ Following up on claims and eventual settlements.
⇗ Preparing periodic reports on the insurance activities of the Company.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
⇗ The applicants should be graduates in insurance or graduate with post
graduate qualications in insurance.
⇗ A minimum of three years of experience in any insurance related eld with
good skills and able to work with minimum supervision.
