On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent,  skilled, and experienced candidates to fill up the following positions in Uganda.
 
Hatchery Junior Technician – Kampala
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities  
⇗         Repair and maintenance of electrical installation at the hatchery
⇗         Monitoring the machines in the hatchery setters and hatchers
⇗         Carry out routine hatcher maintenance after every hatch.
⇗         Monitoring the ventilation system in the Hatchery and air conditioners
⇗         Monitoring the day to day running of the chiller
⇗         Prepare an elaborate service programme for hatchery equipment.
⇗         Monitor the generator and keep a record of running hours.
⇗         Advise the hatchery manager on electrical requirements.
⇗         Troubleshoot any problem and report immediately to the manager.
⇗         Keep a record of all equipment.
⇗         Any other duties assigned by hatchery manager         
 


Qualifications, Skills and Experience
⇗         Passionate about positively impacting smallholder farmers and customers in rural areas.
⇗         Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or any degree in related fields
⇗         Two or more years of experience in Hatchery operations
⇗         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills English, local languages
⇗         Carries a positive, inspirational attitude while working under pressure.
⇗         Demonstrate ability to lead, coach, and manage staff.
⇗         Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
⇗         Ability to work independently with limited follow up
⇗         Adaptive and flexible; ability to learn quickly.
⇗         Strong time management and organizational skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while
⇗         Delivering excellent work products
