Federation of Uganda Employers FUE is a voluntary membership organization established and fully owned by the Employers. It was founded in 1958 as the representative body of all Employers in Uganda. It was registered as an Association in 1960 under the Trustee Incorporation Act. It’s a voice of all Employers on Social and Economic issues. It is an organization that advocates for Employers’ rights.
 
Federation of Uganda Employers on behalf of its Client a faith based NGO is recruiting a suitable candidate to fill the position of Human Resource Manager.
 
Job Summary To lead the strategic function of human resource HR management and support the East African Ministries’ mission and goals through effectively aligned Human Resource/Organization Development strategy, policy, procedures, systems and bring about organizational effectiveness and positive changes through appropriate organization and human resource development interventions.
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities 
Provide leadership in the development, promotion and implementation of Human Resource HR strategy and policy that guides staff behavior, conduct, and commitment to achieve organization mission and objectives.
Establish the Human Relation needs for the organization in consultation with the East African Regional Director & Senior Management
Design, implement and manage salary classifications & compensations programs.
Manage core performance management and feedback processes
Provide apt advice and counsel line managers on talent management, performance management, conflict resolutions, and other areas of employment relations.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelors’ degree with Masters’ degree/ or Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management/Organization Development
At least five years’ relevant work experience at senior level
Strong management skills
Experience with defining and presenting pipeline metrics and data.
Working knowledge of Uganda labour laws and regulations.
Excellent computer, interpersonal and team working skills
Ability to work in a multicultural work environment
Ability to facilitate and champion change in an organization
Ability to demonstrate good judgment and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to facilitate champion change in the organization
Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple tasks and projects
Exceptional leadership, time and management skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong problem solving, critical thinking, coaching, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
Analytical, knowledgeable, organized and proactive character
