About USAID Project
The US Agency for International Development USAID-funded Activity, Strengthening Supply Chain Systems SSCS, a five-year cooperative agreement being implemented by Management Sciences for Health MSH. SSCS therefore seeks the services of the following consultant
 
SharePoint Web Developer
The Ministry of Health Uganda – Department of Pharmacy and Natural Medicine MOH/DPNM working the Division of Health informatics DHI in collaboration with MSH to enhance the look and feel of the National integrated pharmaceutical and supply chain management information system i.e., the Pharmaceutical Information Portal PIP to further promote its use in supporting supply chain reporting, and management decision making at levels of the health system.
 
Job Summary  To revamp the UI/UX designs within the PIP.2 Covert the existing national product catalogue from SQL Master Data Services into a full Product registry. 3 To develop a web-based data repository within the PIP to enable capture of warehouse stock status data.4 Develop feature for PIP users to selfreset user-account passwords.
 
Specific tasks Translate business requirements into specications that will be used to; a Redesign and improve the SharePoint User Interfaces UI and Experience UX} within the PIP according to user-dened requirements- 20 days. b Develop feature tor PIP users to self-reset user- account passwords- 20 days. c Build web-based data repository to capture warehouse stock status data- 20 days.
 
Key deliverables a Inception report 10% LOE; b Development requirement’s report 50% LOE; Revised design documentation; User Acceptance Testing UM report; c] Approved Training and capacity development plan {Complete documentation including User training manuals and user guides}
Timelines for delivery 60 working days from contract signing.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The applicant must hold a BSc in Information Technology/Computer Science/Information Systems/ Computer Engineering or related field is preferable.
Six years of experience as a SharePoint Developer
Proficiency in graphical design tools like Adobe Illustrator
Publisher or InDesign; Knowledge and experience in database design and management is desirable, preferably with MS SQL Server and MySQL
Ability to program in JavaScript, Java, and C#.
Knowledge of web technologies like HTML/XHTML DHTML, XML, json,
Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills are required to support working in project environments that includes internal, external and customer teams.
Requires strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
Programming 1 scripting experience and knowledge of software development life cycle is preferred.
