About US
Kampala Capital City Authority is the legal entity, established by the Ugandan Parliament that is responsible for the operations of the capital city of Kampala in Uganda. It replaced the Kampala City Council.
Key Duties and Responsibilities The incumbent will be responsible to the Supervisor Internal Audit for performing the following duties-
Performing the tests as specified in the audit programme.
Gathering audit evidence in respect of every audit undertaken
Preparing appropriate audit working papers in respect of each audit assignment.
Compiling findings and conclusions in relation to the audits undertaken.
Verifying responses by Auditees to the issues raised by both Internal and External Auditors.
Gathering data for the preparation of audit programs.
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
The applicants for the Kampala Capital City Authority KCCA Officer Internal Audit jobs should be Ugandans holding Honours Bachelor’s Degrees in either Commerce, or Business Administration, or Finance, or any other relevant field from a recognized University/Institution. Applicants should have a minimum of level two of training in ACCA or CPA or any other relevant professional qualification.
Applicants should have a minimum of two 2 years relevant working experience at Assistant Officer or Officer level in Government or auditing field or from a reputable organization.
Age Above 25 years
