Job Summary ⇒ The Security Supervisor mainly maintains Bank safety and
secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance
equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting
entry.

Key Duties and Responsibilities ⇒
⇗ Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring
surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points;
permitting entry.
⇗ Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators
of policy & enforcement of policies and procedures and restraining.
⇗ Prepare regular security status reports by recording observations,
information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
⇗ Support the Security Manager in supervising the outsourced Security
Officers and also do regular spot checks to all the bank premises/ properties
⇗ Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance
requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting
malfunctions; calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
⇗ Ensure that all CCTV cameras and other security systems in the Bank Branch
network are functional, i.e. resolution and retention period.
⇗ Co-ordinate and record delivery of generator fuel into bank premises and
monitor regular usage.
⇗ Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure
environment and observing for signs of crime around bank premises
⇗ Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance
requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting
malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
⇗ Record items coming into the bank premises and those going out of premises
in liaisons with stores and other user department.
⇗ Carry out any other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
⇗ The ideal candidate for the Housing Finance Bank Security Supervisor job
must hold a Diploma in a relevant field. Possession of a bachelor's degree is
an added advantage.
⇗ Qualifications and/or certification in security management trainings is
required.
⇗ Knowledge in investigation is an added advantage
⇗ At least five years of progressive experience in security management in a
reputable organisation or firm, 3 of which in CCTV management.
⇗ MUST have a valid riding permit
⇗ Business Behaviours Surveillance Skills, ability to deal with
uncertainty & emergency, computer skills, pro-active with attention to detail,
Objectivity, Dependable, high emotional intelligence, Integrity, Safety
Management, Professionalism, Report writing and presentation skills
