Job Summary ⇒ The Head of Retail Ops Support will provide complex advice
and support in the positioning of banking operating models and frameworks in a
broadly defined business functional strategy; enabling operating model,
strategy and value chain formulation and alignment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities ⇒
⇗ Methodology management Develop, implement and maintain
methodologies relating to policies and procedures for Retail International
Banking
⇗ Operational management Manage business performance and service
delivery, Manage outputs delivered according to the agreed service levels
contracted between internal customers and Operations Support and action non
delivery
⇗ Risk and Control Ensure that processes, control requirements and
risk management frameworks that impact the area are documented and understood
by all members of the team.
⇗ Work with Absa Internal Audit and Management Assurance during the scoping
of audits
⇗ to ensure fair coverage.
⇗ Manage People and Performance Manage People and Performance
Qualifications, Skills and Experience ⇒
The ideal applicant for the Absa Group Head of Retail Ops Support job should
hold Bachelor’s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas Business, Commerce and
Management Studies Required
